This week, I have started studying Lao in a language school. I wanted to learn Thai, because Thai can be used both in Thailand and Laos. Despite my feeling, they didn’t have Thai. I didn’t have a choice, but to learn Lao. On Tuesday, I had my first lesson. My teacher was a nice, and smiley teacher. On the first lesson, she taught me how to read the alphabet in Lao. I already felt sleepy from the first class, but enjoyed learning the pronounciation. One hour is 50000 kip, which is about 600 yen. I’m planning to learn twice a week, so it will cost a lot for 2 months. On the other hand, it is almost impossible to learn Lao in Japan. I want to try things I can only try in Laos. I hope I can improve with my Lao language before going back to Japan. From Thursday, I will be going to Vientiene, capital of Laos. I will be going there for a festival, where our project will sell products. I hope I can sell everything!
